About us
About Bay Shore Asbestos Removal
A licensed abatement company that treats every basement, ceiling and boiler room like a controlled work zone.
Why We Work the Way We Do
Bay Shore Asbestos Removal was set up around a simple worry: the dust. Asbestos sitting quietly inside an old tile or a wrapped pipe is one thing. The same material broken up in an open room, with the heat running and kids walking through, is something else entirely. Most of what we do is about making sure the second situation never happens.
So the work follows a fixed order. Test before anything is touched. Write the scope down before a sheet of plastic goes up. Seal the area and start the negative air before removal begins. Keep the material wet, bag it as it comes off and get it to a permitted facility. Then clean the space twice over and let an independent air test decide when it is done.
That order holds for a single section of pipe wrap and for a full commercial floor. It also holds at night, when an emergency call comes in and the temptation is to rush.
What We Set Out to Do
Leave every space cleaner and safer than we found it, and leave every customer understanding what was removed, how and why. That means plain answers, written scopes and no work starting until containment is in place.
What Sets Us Apart
Licensed by state and city
Our abatement licenses come from two places, New York State and New York City, which lets one crew handle a Suffolk basement and a Queens storefront alike.
Testing before removal
Nothing gets torn out on suspicion. Samples visit the lab, and only positives come out.
Containment done right
Poly walls, taped registers and filtered machines pulling air inward hold every fiber in place.
Written scope
The list of materials, the containment plan and the disposal route, on paper before anyone starts.
Proper disposal
Bags misted, sealed twice and tagged, then hauled to a permitted landfill with manifests on file.
Answered around the clock
A burst pipe at night reaches a real person, and a crew follows when debris is already loose.
